North Essex Heritage was formed in 1995 and we remain committed to community-led preservation and regeneration of buildings.

We are a building preservation trust (Colchester & North East Essex Building Preservation Trust) which is working on some brilliant, challenging, and unique projects.

A tall brick tower is viewed through the jagged edges of a Roman gateway. The tower has four stacks of red coloured bricks which form the legs of the tower and are separated by arches. Two layers of brick alcoves sit on top of the legs. There are metal railings surrounding a huge square red metal water tank. There is a green pitched roof topped by a small white square room with a window.

" We will now start vital restoration work, make grant applications to other organisations, and develop our proposals and partnerships. We will also seek planning permission and listed building consent.
